Modern Institute of Teacher Education has awarded with “TOBACCO FREE ZONE” Certificate on 7th of April, 2016 from the District Tobacco Control Cell, Kohima, Nagaland.

The Institution has also upgraded for Fire Safety measures by installing more with 10 DCP (4 kg) and 4 DCP (9 kg) Extinguishers in its premises for safely. The College is advised to comply with the norms of National Building Code(NBC) 2016 in the year 2019. A Certificate was issued by the Directorate of Fire & Emergency Services, Government of Nagaland.
